No Drill, No Hydrofoil

I installed the Stingray Starfire Hydrofoil per the specifications. I've been doing all my own boat mechanical and electrical work for years, so not a novice here.
After an initial water test, the hydrofoil held tight, but on the first trip out, I came back with no hydrofoil and I had used the no drill installation option.
While the hydrofoil was on, I experienced a noticeable uplift in performance. My boat is an ex-marine rescue inflatable RIB, with a Suzuki 90 installed.

ment, even with a higher pitch propeller installed, so that in turn gave me higher speed and efficiency - tilt control was significantly improved, so much so that I didn't need to use the full tilt range any more - the best improvement was the ability to maintain a slow plane in a 2m ocean swell outside, this made the ride a lot more comfortable as I was able to hold the revs constant and didn't need to drive the throttle coming down the front of waves
